Felt Mistress 'Power Up! Simmer Down' Exhibition in Tokyo

May 23, 2016

3D Character illustrator Felt Mistress recently had a vibrant exhibition in Tokyo. The collection 'Power Up! Simmer Down' is work specially produced for Cafe Zenon. All of the pieces are inspired by 1980s exercise videos, leisure wear, 1970s pool parties, ice cream, low-impact workouts and Sony Walkmans.

Felt Mistress is the ultra-cool moniker of Louise Evans, a UK based stitcher and prolific tea drinker who creates a range of one-off bespoke creatures with her partner-in-crime, illustrator Jonathan Edwards. Originally trained in fashion design and millinery and with a background in bespoke dress design, Louise brings her whole sewing kit and tricks of the trade to the world of Character Design.
