Matt Hind HOT ROD SHOOT for Men's File Magazine

March 1, 2016

In 2015 South Californians Brian Bent and JJ Wessels got a small pot of money from sponsors Freak’s Store Japan and Matix Clothing to build a hot rod from an original Erskine rolling chassis and an old Pontiac. Joined by Scotty and Turk Stopnik of The Cycle Zombies for a surf tour up to San Francisco via Big Sur and Santa Cruz JJ and BB put their faith in the old school boneshaker over miles of Pacific Coast Highway asphalt. Matt Hind was at the So-Cal airfield for Men’s File Magazine to photograph their homecoming and a series of races over a quarter mile with a 1942 Boeing-Stearman biplane.

Take a look at more of Matt's photography here.
